(*b 1980, Lisbon) I trained as a Communication Designer (5 year Degree at Faculty Fine Arts Lisbon - 1998-2003) and worked as a Designer in Advertising and Design Studios between 2003 and 2006. In 2006, I decided to follow my passion for Contemporary Art and I took an MA in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, London.
I am a curator and writer passionate by how stories unfold in both exhibitions and texts. I have been living in different countries and am passionate for traveling and writing about the stories and History of the places.
I collaborate regularly with institutions as P28, CAM Gulbenkian, Round The Corner. I collaborated with institutions as Fundação EDP (PT), Tensta Konsthall (SE), Tate Modern (UK), Tate Britain (UK), The Photographer's Gallery (UK), Fotografisk Centre (DK), Frankfurter Kunstvrein (DE) and OK-Centrum (AT). I have published extensively in exhibition catalogues, magazines and publications as ArteCapital (PT), L+Arte (PT), Mug Magazine (IT), Magnética (PT), C-Heads (AT), Directarts (Canada), among others.
Currently, I'm writing my PhD thesis on multidisciplinary approaches in art for social change within a multicultural context, in the frame of the CCCPM programme (SEgroup and Humboldt-Viadrina School of Governance).
