After completing my Master of Arts in Journalism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I hopped on a plane for South East Asia and became hopelessly addicted to seeing the world. I've since developed a solid following on my travel blog, Stars on the Ceiling, and written for a variety of travel publications. I've taught myself the many skills required of building a one-person online publication, including website design, SEO, social media marketing, HTML coding, and more. I spent the last year backpacking South America and then driving a compact car from London to Mongolia, and have now returned to New York City to continue my career as a writer by expanding my freelance experience.
