Angela Cappetta - Freelancer

Angela Cappetta’s work has always had a strong social and figurative component. Made with a succession of Leicas and hand held medium format cameras, she prefers a spontaneous, from-the-hip approach and uses last minute changes and unknown situational limitations to her advantage. Angela’s work is in such permanent collections as the New York Public Library, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Center for Photography in Woodstock and The Carlsbad Museum in New Mexico. She has contributed to such publications as Wired, the New Yorker, Harper’s Bazaar, American Vogue, Russian, Vogue, Mexican Vogue and The New York Times Magazine. Angela is also an adjunct professor of Photography at School of Visual arts.
