I'm an illustrator. I moved out here to Los Angeles from New York to promote and pitch more of my animated projects. I've done a few children's books and work primarily in editorial illustration from my home studio. For the past 7 years I was the art director of a kid's website called "Lucky Kat World", where I artistically lead a team of talented people to brand a new product and create games, apps, animated shorts, printed materials and web pages.
I've illustrated the column "Joe Bob's America" by writer Joe Bob Briggs and distributed by The New York Times Syndicate for 10 years. My clients include:
Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated, S.I. For Kids, Time, Disney, Nickelodeon, Premiere, Scholastic Publications, The Chicago Tribune, National Geographic Kids, Fantagraphics Comics, Harper Collins Books and many other national newspapers and magazines. I've won several newspaper awards including the
Society of Publication Design for some of my cover work and 2 Alternative Newspaper awards.
